Amy Ringholz

Dreamers Don't Sleep: Ringholz The First Ten Years 2002-2012

BOOK DESIGN / PRINT MANAGEMENT

Hoping to tell the story of her creative journey, Jackson Hole painter Amy Ringholz looked to the expert craftsmanship and direction of our branding agency Creative Curiosity Graphics to design and print her first artist book, Dreamers Don’t Sleep: Ringholz, The First Ten Years 2002–2012. The result is a piece of art in itself, a tangible tribute to her incredible passion and talent as a fine artist.

BOOK DESIGN

The Creative Curiosity team has an extensive background working with fine artists and galleries throughout the West, and we have developed a keen understanding of how best to translate paintings to the page. Through thorough discussion with the client, we helped Ringholz to clearly identify her purpose for this book, and gave clearer shape to her vision. We married the stunning visuals of her paintings to her distinctive voice with expressive typography and a clean yet engaging layout, and fully captured the nuances of Ringholz’s unique artist identity.

PRINT MANAGEMENT

Creative Curiosity effectively defined and organized the printing strategy and production schedule, collaborating with a regional printer to ensure Ringholz’s book was completed on time using top-quality materials and finishes to give the book a unique look and feel. We offered layout and printing proofs throughout the process, allowing the artist to provide feedback and stay updated on progress.

This book design project showcases Amy Ringholz’s artistic journey through sketches, paintings and photography combine with expressive typography telling the artist's personal story.
