Position Overview

We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager & Marketing Strategist to lead the execution and organization of client work, while contributing to and strengthening overall marketing strategy.

This is a hybrid role with a strong emphasis on project management and execution, paired with the ability to think critically and contribute to strategic direction.
You will own a portfolio of client accounts—ensuring projects move forward smoothly, communication is clear, and strategy is translated into focused, actionable plans.

This is not a task coordination role. You are responsible for driving work forward, reducing friction, and ensuring outcomes are delivered at a high level.

What You’ll Do

Project Management & Execution
(Primary Focus)

  • Own and manage 6–12 client accounts simultaneously
  • Lead projects from kickoff through delivery—scope, timelines, resourcing, and execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading communication and expectations
  • Translate strategy into clear, actionable direction for designers, writers, and collaborators
  • Build and actively manage workflows in Monday.com
  • Plan and support execution of email marketing campaigns, including campaign calendars, content coordination, and quality assurance

Strategy Contribution & Planning (≈30%)

  • Partner with leadership on annual marketing and communications plans, including timelines, budgets, and priorities
  • Contribute thoughtful recommendations across email marketing, print, digital, paid media, social, and editorial channels
  • Help shape campaign direction and ensure alignment between goals and execution
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and impact across accounts
  • Translate high-level ideas into clear, structured plans the team can execute

Production & Vendor Management

  • Manage print projects end-to-end, including vendor sourcing, pricing, samples, and production timelines
  • Coordinate with external partners to ensure quality, accuracy, and deadlines
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies—and solve them early
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
  • Maintain organized systems across Google Drive, Monday.com, Slack, and Dropbox

What Success Looks Like

  • Projects run smoothly without leadership needing to step in
  • Strategy is clearly translated into actionable, well-executed work
  • Clients feel informed, confident, and well taken care of
  • The team has complete clarity on priorities, timelines, and expectations
  • Email campaigns are thoughtful, timely, and integrated into broader efforts
  • Problems are identified early—with solutions already in motion
  • You bring structure, focus, and momentum to every account

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–8+ years of experience in a marketing or creative agency environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong client communication skills—you can confidently lead conversations and keep things moving
  • A proactive, self-directed mindset with strong ownership and follow-through
  • Ability to think critically and contribute ideas, while staying grounded in execution
  • Experience planning or supporting email marketing campaigns as part of broader marketing efforts
  • Experience with project management tools (Monday.com and Slack preferred)
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Experience working with remote teams

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience working with nonprofits
  • Strong familiarity with email marketing strategy and execution
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Klaviyo, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with paid media and social media workflows
  • Experience with print production and vendor coordination
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (basic understanding is fine)
